Baked Brown Rice with Almonds

  • 1 cup brown rice

  • 1/4 cup almonds, blanched and skin removed

  • 2 cups boiling water

  • 1 medium onion, diced

  • 1-2 stalks celery, diced

  • pinch of sea salt

Пошаговое Приготовление

  1. Wash the rice, rinse and drain. Dry-roast the rice until golden brown.

  2. Remove and place in a casserole or baking dish. Mix in the blanched almonds, onions and celery. Pour the boiling water over the rice and vegetables

  3. Cover and bake at 350°F for about 1-1/4 to 1-1/2 hours.
