The program covers four major topics:

  • Building an Effective Support Team

  • Food

  • Lifestyle

  • Mastering Good Health

To register, go to the Calendar. We recommend taking all four sessions in the order they are scheduled: Jan 8, 15, 22, and 29, 3 - 5 PM.

Macrobiotics of New England

Warren Kramer, beloved husband, father, son, teacher, and friend, passed away peacefully at his home on July 3, 2021 surrounded by his family. He was a pillar in the macrobiotic community serving others in a deeply meaningful way through his teachings of macrobiotic principles.

Warren shared his knowledge and supported people around the world as they embarked on their healing journey. Until his passing, Warren continued to tirelessly serve the community near and far.

While he chose to keep his diagnosis private, Warren spoke about the deep insights that came from experiencing cancer first-hand. He studied and evaluated his experience in a manner which recalls non-credo, one of the founding principles of macrobiotics espoused by George Ohsawa.

Macrobiotics provides a framework for how to live, asking us to continually challenge habitual assumptions and perspectives. He spoke often about the profound learnings that came from lived experience and his dream of writing and teaching to support others.

Throughout his illness, Warren maintained hope and gained new perspectives on how to help others with cancer and serious illness. May his example inspire us to continue questioning and learning in order to serve our community with ever deeper wisdom and compassion.

Warren leaves behind his wife Fatim and his 12-year old son Adam. May we offer love and positive energy to comfort and hold them as they navigate their profound loss.

Warren’s funeral will be private, limited to immediate family, however, a public memorial service honoring his life will be held at a date and location to be announced. His family welcomes everyone who knew and loved Warren to join this celebration of his legacy.

To honor Warren’s commitment to education, the family invites, in lieu of flowers, contributions to support Warren's son Adam’s education.

Until a formal fund is established, contributions may be made through Warren Kramer's Venmo @Warren-Kramer or checks payable to Fatim Kramer on behalf of Adam Kramer.

Notes of condolences may be sent to:
