Kuzu-Mushroom Gravy

  • 3 cups water

  • 4 1/2 to 5 tsps shoyu or tamari soy sauce

  • 1 to 2 tsps sesame oil

  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced thin

  • 1/2 cup onion, minced

  • 2 Tbsps parsley, scallion, or chives, chopped fine

  • 5 tsps kuzu, diluted in 6 tsps water

Пошаговое Приготовление

  1. Heat the oil in a skillet. Saute the onion for 1 to 2 minutes.

  2. Add the mushrooms and saute for 3 to 4 minutes.

  3. Add the water and soy sauce. Cover, bring to a boil, and reduce the flame to medium- low. Simmer for 5 minutes.

  4. Reduce the flame to low and add the kuzu, stirring constantly until the sauce becomes thick.

  5. Turn off the flame and add the parsley, scallion, or chives, and mix.

  6. Serve hot over desired dish.
